Some Chinese turquoise looks like turquoise from classic American mines and is often misrepresented as such. It is more common today to find Native American jewelry set with Chinese turquoise than with true, authentic Southwestern turquoise. A piece of Indian jewelry set with Chinese turquoise is worth only a fraction of the value of an identical piece set with turquoise from one of the premiere Southwestern mines. Very nice condition and very heavy pocket watch. Just professionally serviced, this watch is running strong and keeping time. The dial is in good condition with no hairlines or chips. Bluing on hands is great. Case is marked Coin (900) Silver. Hinges are tight with no over extending. Crystal is clear and clean, Bow is nice and tight. 13 Jewels, size 18. Serial #852826. Not monogrammed.
