One question we get often at The Eagle Empire is "It's probably too late to get into Gold and Silver now huh?" The answer is simply ... no. We believe it's never too late to invest in precious metals. Analysts suggest Gold hitting as high as $5000.00 an ounce and Silver $185.00 an ounce ! Maybe even higher ! Some laugh at these numbers but they also laughed at Gold reaching $1000.00 an ounce. The truth is, you have to look at the situation as follows; Gold and Silver have been the number one form of trade currency since almost the beginning of man. People would break off pieces of Gold to make purchases, to barter and trade. Silver was used as "change" and for smaller purchases. Paper currency came along thousands of years later as a "substitute" for carrying the weight of Gold or Silver. Paper currency was backed by Silver and Gold, meaning that at any time, one could exchange their paper "dollars" for Gold or Silver. That DOES exist today with some, but as we can see it takes a lot more "dollars" to "trade" for Silver and Gold. The paper currency system has failed us in history before and will do so again. At that point, we will need other forms of "currency" to do our bartering. A loaf of bread for a quart of milk. A dozen eggs for a bag of flour. An ounce of Silver for a slab of meat. Even in a worse case scenario, if Silver and Gold were to "tank", they would still be worth a considerable amount more than any paper currency. I heard from an elderly gentleman once, "Any Silver under $100.00 an ounce is a good buy." I personally do not carry paper currency on me. The moment a sale is made or any other means that brings paper currency my way, I immediately exchange it for Gold or Silver. I have absolutely no use for our "promissory notes" any longer other than to hand them to someone who carries Gold and Silver and stills holds faith in the "paper play money". The best thing for someone to do is spread out their portfolio. Don't invest it all into Gold alone. Move your savings around into different areas and when you find one that pays better dividends, invest a little more into that one. Everyone has their interests. Everyone has a different level of investment. Everyone thinks differently. That's what makes this world such a fascinating place. The answer is simply this...do what makes sense to YOU ! Enjoy your roller coaster ride around this circle we call life. It only goes around once. May God bless you and the U.S.A.
